In the Lodoza, El Paraíso region of Honduras, the Padilla family acquired land in 2019 that today is Finca Expreso Paraiseño. The area is known for its rich soils and delicate climate, ideal for coffee production. They started their farming initiative by selecting coffee varietals that were better suited to the area and utilized sustainable farming practices. The coffee was intercropped with other plants to improve soil health and provide nutrients.
Today, Javier Padilla is committed to growing excellent quality coffee whilst working with the surrounding environment to ensure a balance is maintained sustainably. The name for the farm came from the family’s exporting business with the same name, which represents their commitment to growing high quality coffee, the name translating to ‘express paradise.’ The coffee grown at the farm is the product of commitment, grown from the beautiful lands of La Lodoza, El Paraíso, with plenty of passion.
